How to get Involved!

Attend Monthly Meetings

ODU AIAA will host general meetings at the beginning of each month during the academic year. Meetings will include information on upcoming events, guest speakers, and projects!

All events, meetings, and projects are free to the entire student body unless otherwise specified. Attending meetings is the best way to stay up to date.

Check out our lab spaces!

The ODU AIAA operates out of a few spaces on campus. Our primary location is the Unmanned and Autonomous Vehicle Laboratory (Kaufman 121) where we design, fabricate, and fly multi-rotor and fixed wing platforms.

The UAV lab is open to all interested students! No prior experience is required to join the space. The space is built to prepare YOU to be an engineer!

The Space Systems Lab (Kaufman 225) is home to the ODU AIAA CubeSat Branch where we develop and test space system technology in partnership with industry such as the US Coast Guard and NASA Langley Research Center.

The Space Systems Lab is open to all ODU AIAA members interested in learning more about satellite technology.

The ODU AIAA also uses the ODU Low-Speed and Super Sonic Wind Tunnels in Kaufman Hall for testing and validation of our aircraft. In these space you can learn about wind tunnel techniques and observe real-time engineering!
