The ODU AIAA gives students the chance to use our affiliated lab spaces to work on individual or group projects. Students are given access to all of the tools and materials required to work on fixed-wing/multirotor drones as well as cube satellite technology.
Traditional and experimental fixed wing platforms give students the opportunity to learn about aerodynamics, airplane design, and propulsion.
Multi-rotor systems give students the opportunity to learn about propulsion, manufacturing, control systems and more. Pictured to the left.
Cube Sat technology gives students a chance to learn about satellite payloads and the design of systems for high altitude and orbital missions. Great for people who love space!
