The Business Analytics Club helps members build essential skills in technology, networking, business communication, and practical analytics. We empower students from all majors to use analytical tools to advance their careers and communities.
Skill building: data visualisation, statistical analysis, programming languages, and using analytics software like MYSQL. Members can also develop their problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills through various club activities and projects.
Professional development: Members receive guidance and access to resources critical in developing their careers in business analytics, such as resume building, Excel, and networking opportunities.
Networking: We strive to invite two industry speakers annually for members to connect with, introducing faculty, alumni, and other community leaders in the field of business analytics to our members.
Informational sessions: The club hosts informational sessions for potential majors and minors, allowing members to stay informed about opportunities in the field. As well as ways to engage with our community.
Community: The club provides a sense of community and belonging for students with similar interests and goals. We want to make ODU an even better place of learning.
