This club is to bring together students who are interested in learning, practicing, and engaging in American Sign Language and deaf and hard of hearing culture. The objectives of this organization is to bring awareness to the deaf and hard of hearing community and educate students on deaf culture and American sign language. This club will also create a space for deaf and hard of hearing students to be seen, heard, and included.
Connect with other students who share an interest in American Sign Language and the deaf community. Engage with guest speakers, community events, and volunteer opportunities related to American Sign Language and accessibility. Take on leadership roles within the club. Learn a new language that can be included on employment or educational applications.
