Thank you to everyone who participated (nominated, ran, or voted) in the 2024-2025 ALA Student Chapter Officer Election. Like all things in libraries, it truly comes back to community. Thank you for making this a joyous one to be a part of.

I'm excited to see the growth they will bring to the chapter this next year.

Serving as President has been a pleasure. Sincerest thanks to each of you for helping make it what it was and for reaching out; it was wonderful to have worked and learned with and from so many of you.  

Please also remember to join us for an informal mini-meeting (approx. 30min.) in length to ratify the previously proposed constitutional amendment, and potentially introduce new officers (if they are available) on Wednesday, August 7th at 7:00 pm EST (immediately following the MLIS graduation Zoom, but hosted in a separate Zoom room).
