About Us

Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society is an honor and professional society for students of the biological sciences. It focuses on scholarly organization for undergraduates with an emphasis in encouraging scholarly attainment through learning. Beta Beta Beta emphasizes a 3-point program with focuses in stimulation of scholarship, distribution and circulation of scientific knowledge, and promotion of biological research.

Members Benefits

All members of Tri-Beta join a network of biology students and leaders to assist them in reaching their full potential and extend the boundaries of their research. Benefits include but are not limited to: a) Opportunities for grants and research scholarships including travel grants b) Ability to apply for research-based awards c) Present at district/regional and national conventions d) Subscription to BIOS, an online biology journal that has been around since 1930 a. Opportunities to submit undergraduate research to BIOS b. Understanding of how scientific publication occurs e) Leadership opportunities f) Ability to participate in Tri-Beta events
