Leading the Pride: Your Blueprint for Org Success is your all-access pass to becoming a stronger, more effective student leader. Whether you're a returning officer or stepping into a leadership role for the first time, this training day is designed to equip you with the skills, tools, and confidence to lead your organization to new heights.

This training will take place Saturday, August 29th from 9:00 am - 1:30 pm where you'll have the option to choose your blueprint based on areas you'd like to focus on during the breakout sessions.
The Operations Blueprint will help you master the essentials— budgeting & navigating Monarch Groups like a pro (ideal for new officers)
The Impact Blueprint focuses on leadership development— meaningful connections, climate surveys, inclusive communities, etc.

Along the way, you’ll connect with other student leaders and campus partners who are here to help you thrive. Expect interactive sessions, practical takeaways, and opportunities to leave your pawprint on ODU’s campus community.

Participants will also learn practical strategies for hosting their own conference, from initial planning to execution. Leading the Pride: Impact Blueprint- Creating Organizational Climate Surveys

Understanding how members experience your organization and the campus community is essential to creating a stronger Monarch experience This session will introduce officers to organizational climate surveys as a tool for gathering feedback, identifying areas of success, and recognizing opportunities for improvement. Participants will explore lessons learned from real climate surveys and learn how to create and implement surveys that provide meaningful, actionable insights for their organization. This session will be facilitated by Jacob Gallaher and Aliyah Downing with the Ocean and Earth Sciences Graduate Student Organization.

Using a college tour for at risk youth as a case study, participants will learn how thoughtful programming can strengthen an organization’s impact and create a legacy on campus and in the community.
