Mapathon Fall 2022

Monarch Mappers is an club that reaches out and aids other countries by creating/updating maps using opensource software such as Openstreetmaps and Hot Tasking Manager. This organization collaborates with other Universities and Colleges such as Tidewater Community College, Christopher Newport University and other Virginia Schools and many other ODU clubs on campus.

These events are open to the public and meet both in-person (on campus and off campus) as well as virtually. Our organizations events have continued to grow exponentially each semester with our last on-campus event resulting in over 60 registrations and involving two other universities participation. We would like to continue this trend with the coming years.
