We will begin with a talk about the overlaps between the neurodivergent and LGBT+ communities and the common communication barriers that they face. This will be followed by various interactive activities that allow audience members to "experience" communication barriers for themselves. These activities include "Gibberish" game, reading brain study paragraphs, and re-writing commonly gendered phrases. After the activities, we will conclude by providing tips and tricks on communication and leave time for a Q&A session.
