Operation BLUE: Cooking Class

Student veterans are invited to join Operation BLUE at Broderick Dining Commons for a cooking class! Students will cook alongside the chefs to practice easy recipes, learn how to prepare healthy foods, and sharpen their cooking skills. Then one lucky student will be given some cooking tools to bring home!

LOCATION: at Uno Mas (when entering, back left corner by big blue lion wall art)

BREAKDOWN:

• Introduction and Cooking Instruction | Chef Jerome
  • BBQ Chicken Stuffed Sweet Potatoes with Cole Slaw
  • Participants will take on different aspects of prep and cooking
• While Food is Cooking
  • Tour of Broderick Dining Commons and overview of the dining hall, allergen/diet information and Meal Plan Information
  • Easy Prep Recipe Overview and recipes to take home
