The mission of the Mongolian Indonesian Association, or MIA, is to allow for a space for those of Mongolian and Indonesian descent and those interested in the cultures of Indonesia and Mongolia to be able to come together and share our experiences and culture. MIA was founded in September of 2024 by Matthew Stone and Joshua Foe. MIA serves to educate and inform the ODU student body more about Mongolian and Indonesian culture.
Members can expect to learn more about the Mongolian and Indonesian cultures and become more cultured in cultures from around the world. Members can benefit by finding a community at ODU that is welcoming, non-discriminatory, and diverse in background, ethnicity, and culture.
