Graduating Soon? Become a Leader!

Greetings Monarch!

We have been hard at work to streamline your experience within the Old Dominion Chapter of the Young Democratic Socialists of America (YDSAODU). You are receiving this email because you are within two years of graduation. 

Please contact your college advisor to schedule a meeting with them prior to October 31st: This is to ensure that you are on track for graduation. Please also discuss recommendation letters with them, based on academic performance and community involvement. 

If you have not already considered leadership positions, it is time to ramp up your management experience. Delegation and Diplomat appointments are excellent ways to increase your experience in leadership and project management without being an officer of an organization. Once appointed as a Delegate or Diplomat, you will attend DSA leadership trainings and development seminars to ensure your future success. The Delegation and Diplomat Membership List will also be sent to collaborating Directors within Batten Arts & Letters to nominate you for leadership and service awards.  

For those interested in becoming a Delegate: There is an Interest Meeting TONIGHT (October 19th) @ 5 pm in Perry Library, Room1306. 

Please consider becoming a leader within our Chapter so that we may continue to change Monarch history for the better.
