An announcement from the director of the CVCSA!

It is with great excitement that the Coastal Virginia Cybersecurity Student Association is announcing our first ever Capture The Flag competition, CyberForge!

CTFs are one of the best ways you can prepare for your cybersecurity career. They are a fun and valuable opportunity to level up your cybersecurity skills. Many students feel that they learn more from participating in CTFs than they do an entire semester of classes. Companies also look for them on resumes and they can be a great way to expand your network.

If you are wondering if you have the skills to attend the answer is an emphatic yes! Our competition has been designed to be accessible to all skill levels and we strongly encourage you to sign up even if you feel like you don't know anything at all.

What: A cybersecurity competition featuring:

• ~$1000 dollars in prizes
• Free breakfast and lunch.
• Free shirt and laptop sticker just for attending
• NO ENTRY FEE

When: Saturday, March 26th from 10am-5pm

Where: ODU Webb Center
