About Us

The goals of S.E.A.D is to create a lasting cultural impact on the campus of Old Dominion University. S.E.A.D. strives to correctly educate the public of the rich East African culture through various means. Rather than highlighting the differences between other cultures, we look towards portraying the connection between all. S.E.A.D. is open to any student interested in representing, or learning about East Africa, or those who want to see the relation of their own culture with those of East African Descent. We focus on Awareness, Service, and Fellowship! Join and plant your SEAD at ODU and watch it FLOURISH!
