Public Health Talk with Rosie, State Epidemiologist

Rosie was born and raised in Reno, Nevada and received her undergraduate and master's degree from the University of Nevada, Reno. Rosie moved to Virginia in 2013 for her current position as the State Forensic Epidemiologist within the Virginia Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. She has worked on a variety of different mortality topics in Virginia; however much of her time over the last several years has been focused on tracking and reporting on trends in fatal drug overdoses across the state due to the opioid epidemic.
