About Us

This project aims to create a VEX U Team at ODU to participate in the 2019-2020 VEX Competition (and the years to follow). These robots have to fit inside of a pre-defined starting square and perform the tasks required by the game, scoring more points than the opposing team. ODU's VEX U Team, consisting of students from all majors, not just the college of engineering, will design, build, and program two robots to participate in tournaments to earn a spot in the VEX World Championships. We plan to represent ODU by competing in competitions and performing well with good sportsmanship. We plan on showing gracious professionalism, breeding fierce competition while treating other teams with respect and kindness. We will go out to competitions, not only to win but to come back with new friends and partners from universities around the country. These qualities will make the ODU VEX U team stand out, with our Big Blue inspired robots. All meeting are held in the ECE Studio (1125) in the Engineering Systems Building (ESB).
