Hello SVEA Members,
As the end of the semester is slowly approaching us, we wanted to check in with 2021 graduating seniors about stoles!
If you are graduating this semester and wish to receive a stole, please fill out this survey, here.
If you are unsure if you have met all of the stole requirements, check the list below.
Stole Requirements
All of the following must be completed prior to the last day of classes in order to receive graduation regalia:
- Have to be a paid member at time of graduation
- Have 15 total hours of involvement recorded on MonarchLink
- Have attended 1 community service event (ex. Read Across America Day)
- Have attended 1 professional development event (ex. IPD Conference, SVEA Conference, VEA Conference, or SVEA Workshop)
- Have attended 3 general meetings (in person or through Facebook Live)
- Attended 1 Committee Meeting
- Have added 1 lesson plan to shared lesson plan book
Committee Recruitment
If you are interested in fulfilling the committee requirement, here are two opportunities below:
- Website Committee-We need members to help us revamp and update our website. To apply, click here.

If you are graduating this semester and still need to complete stole requirements that would have been fulfilled during the last academic school year, please email odusvea@gmail.com. Any concerns that you may have will be addressed.
