About Us

The Old Dominion University American Society of Civil Engineers Student Chapter is aimed to provide students with the opportunity to meet and learn from local professionals in the field of Civil Engineering and provide students with an improved opportunity to earn scholarships and internships.The organization also attends an annual Virginia conference where students are able to apply what they have learned in class by participating in competitions and projects which involve various Civil Engineering topics. We aim to bring hands-on experience and networking opportunities to the academic environment, in order to broaden the students' knowledge and passion of Civil Engineering.
