Our mission is to honor the legacy of step as an art form rooted in resistance and resilience, while creating a space for self-expression, leadership, and community impact. 1. Creative Expression and Performance Opportunities Members will express themselves through original step routines and perform at campus events and cultural showcases. Every performance is a chance to make our mark. 2. Leadership and Team Building As we build STAX from the ground up, every member has the chance to shape our identity. Develop leadership skills by stepping into roles like captain, team manager, social media manager and grow alongside a committed team. 3. Cultural Exploration and Empowerment While we’re a new team, our foundation is rooted in stepping as an art form of strength, resistance, and rhythm. Members will learn about and celebrate the cultural history that inspires our movement. 4. Community and Connection Join a collective of passionate students committed to creating something powerful together. STAX is a space where friendships form, ideas flow, and support is constant both on and off the stage. 5. Confidence & Discipline Step practice sharpens focus, time management, and performance presence. Members will build self-confidence through consistent training and bold performances.
