Mission
Our mission is to share the distinctive cultural identity of Sri Lanka with the scholarly community at ODU and add to its diversity. We aim to create a cozy, homely atmosphere for the new international students coming from Sri Lanka and integrate them well with the American socio-cultural milieu. Our events are specially designed to celebrate traditional Sri Lankan festivals of historical and cultural significance with plenty of food and good cheer.

Membership Benefits
Current ODU students can gain an educational awareness of Sri Lankan culture; and can participate in events that are particularly tailored to that effect.
New Sri Lankan and other international students will find a cozy, homely atmosphere through involvement in the activities of our association.
Training in leadership/communication skills.
Career opportunities to current students via alumni.
