Membership Intent Form - Fraternity & Sorority Life
The Old Dominion University Office of Student Engagement & Traditions must be notified prior to any National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) or Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) chapter's membership intake process or Interfraternity Council (IFC) or Panhellenic Council (PHC) new member process.
The purpose of this notification is to ensure that Student Engagement & Traditions is aware of membership activities, can help the chapter adhere to Old Dominion University policies, and can provide support for intake activities and new member education including New Member Presentations.
NPHC & MGC: This form must be submitted to SET within 48 hours of the chapter's informational. Forms are not considered submitted until approved by Graduate Advisor, Chapter President & Chapter Intake Coordinator.
IFC & PHC This form must be submitted to SET prior to the extension of membership. Forms are not considered submitted until approved by Chapter Advisor, Chapter President and New Member Educator.
Each organization must comply with all of the rules and guidelines of their inter/national organization regarding the membership intake process and/or new member education process. Any changes to the information below must be updated with SET Associate Director immediately.
