About Us

Our mission is to incorporate social justice advocacy in our roles as students, counselors, educators, researchers, and supervisors by 1) collaboratively facilitating and co-creating community and connection for students in our program interested in social justice; 2) enhancing opportunities for additional training and education beyond what our programÔÇÖs curriculum offers in cultural pluralism and sustainability, aspects of multiple identities, and systemic oppression, such as through guest speakers and activities; 3) helping members build their professional identities as social justice advocates by honing their skills of advocacy through practice, service, and research; and 4) organizing together to take action within our university and our broader community on matters of inequity and social change.
