Discover and build your leadership potential in this interactive workshop. Through reflection, peer collaboration, and unique hands-on activities, you’ll identify leadership skills in your everyday experiences and learn how to recognize these skills in others. Create your own Leadership Trading Card to articulate your strengths and connect them to opportunities like internships, student organizations, and jobs. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with concrete strategies to translate experiences into resume-ready examples and actionable next steps for personal and professional growth.

Learning Outcomes:
Identify leadership skills demonstrated through academic, work, and life experiences.
Recognize leadership behaviors in themselves and others.
Connect experiences to leadership skills valued by employers.
Identify next-step opportunities aligned with their leadership development.

Attendance at this workshop and completion of a post-assessment form will award you "Monarchs LEAD Credits". (For more information about Monarchs LEAD, visit https://www.odu.edu/career-leadership/odu-comprehensive-leadership-program or contact Otis Williams at ojwillia@odu.edu)
