Mission Statement: King In You (KIY) is an organization of college Men who come together in coalition to improve in the areas of professional development, self-esteem, scholarship, service, and activism. We strive to make improvements within our surrounding area through ways of community service, full-body meetings, fundraising, and social events. King In You is founded upon the principle: "Empowered Men , Empowering the Next Generation of Gentlemen ."
Benefits of becoming a member of King in You (KIY) includes the opportunity to fellowship and network with other like minded men "kings" on the campus of Old Dominion University and young men from surrounding areas. Members will also enjoy the benefit of experiencing male empowerment among peers and mentors. KIY will also offer community service opportunities for its members to become more active on campus and in the Norfolk community, all while learning importance of prestige in manhood.
