Mission The Health Services Administration Student Association (HSASA) at Old Dominion University is dedicated to fostering the development and growth of future leaders in the field of healthcare administration. Our mission is to create a supportive and engaging community that equips students with the knowledge, resources, and opportunities essential for navigating the dynamic healthcare industry.
Membership Benefits- Members will have the chance to connect with other like-minded students, allowing them to build a strong network of future health services administration professionals. - Workshops will be conducted on assorted topics related to health services administration, such as healthcare policy, strategic planning, management, and healthcare technology. - Sessions will be hosted dedicated to resume writing, interviewing techniques, and professionalism to help members polish their job application materials and excel in their job search. This will be specifically tailored to health services administrative roles. - There will be opportunities to engage in leadership roles within the organization, such as serving on the executive council. These experiences will help develop essential leadership skills highly valued in health services administration. - Community service initiatives will be organized to benefit the health of the community. - Workshops will be arranged on professional development topics such as effective communication, conflict resolution, time management, and project management.
