Welcome to Powhatan Village Apartments at Old Dominion University!

Hello, Residents of Powhatan Village:

Welcome HOME! My name is Matt and I am the Residence Hall Director for Powhatan Village Apartments. To assist with operations of our community, Powhatan Village Apartments has two Assistant Hall Directors, Jackie and Derrick. Furthermore, the team consists of 18 resident assistants and 6 desk receptionists. The team in Powhatan Village Apartments is comprised of highly-motivated and dedicated professional and para-professional staff committed to assisting you in achieving personal, professional, and academic success. As you take time to prepare for an exciting year at Old Dominion University (whether you are a first year or returning student) reflect on how you will contribute to making our apartment-style community an inclusive place where you will be comfortable finding your voice, forming new friendships, discovering opportunities for leadership, and engaging in meaningful conversations with those who are different from you. We are a richly diverse community of learners representing countries from all over the world, athletic programs, and research areas.
