The Collaborative Academic Research Engagement Society (CARES) is established for the expressed purpose of facilitating multidisciplinary research collaboration among students and providing a supportive community for professional growth and development. CARES aims to connect students to resources enabling the development and advancement of research ideas and advocation for social justice in research.
This organization will provide members with a collaborative space for students interested in research activities to connect as well as opportunities for community outreach, community service, participation in journal club activities, peer engagement, writing clubs, and workshops.
