About Us

The mission of HOSA is to enhance the delivery of compassionate, quality healthcare by providing opportunities for knowledge, skill and leadership development of all health science education students in order to enable students to meet the needs of the healthcare community. Joining a HOSA organization will help one develop effective leadership qualities, teamwork skills, build self-confidence, gain motivation and enthusiasm. HOSA members will be able to strengthen their academic and technical skills by being able to participate in hands-on health care skills through the state and national events held by HOSA competitive events programs. Events are held at regional level; however, students who qualify have an opportunity to progress to state and national events.
